 ftware toolchain that links the Quantum Intermediate Representation (QIR) 
 to the hardware-agnostic execution framework XACC. The novelty of this wor
 k is an implementation of the QIR specification for use in the XACC framew
 ork by translating the QIR to an XACC intermediate representation (XIR) an
 d then illustrating how this toolchain will be able to represent both quan
 tum and classical computations. The anticipated impact includes the expans
 ion of quantum programming languages that can be executed on quantum compu
 ting hardware and the utilization of QPU hardware agnostic properties of X
